Frankly speaking I have no idea about this draft before receiving your email. However, if this draft is passed I will constitute a gross breach to the freedom of speech, which the American Constitution is called for. Besides, this move may distort the already damaged image of USA in ME and it may serves as a logical pretension for the Terrorists to carry out more offensive against American interests. Bilateral dialogue in my view point is the most effective tool to address and resolve all Arab-American issues.

As a law student with many courses in American Constitutional law at a leading university in the United States, all I can say about this proposed law, it has nothing to do with US national interests and it has every thing to do with Israeli’s dictates to members of US Congress. In the US we are free to debate God and/ or HIS existence, we can debate Jesus, Mohamed, Isaac, Moses, Abraham. We can debate George Bush how smart and how stupid he is, we can debate and criticize the president of the United States, we can debate the Creation, abortion, death penalty, terrorism, we can debate every thing with no limitations other than defamation limitation and disseminating information that are not true, or we have reasons to know as not true. There is really nothing off limits other than Israel and our relations with Israel and the monopoly Israel through its agents and Fifth Column exercise over American foreign policy and its unchecked exercise of power over media and politics. Very few politicians survive the criminal onslaught of the Israeli lobby. Very few key administrators dare to stand up for America and what is right and survive the power of the Jewish lobby. If we think East Jerusalem is an Israeli Occupied Territories, one should come to Washington were the White House and Congress are Israeli Occupied Territories, not to mention key national media, where editors never had the courage to speak out and challenge the Israeli or the “Jewish” position on issues. As such this law is designed to silence international media especially those in the Arab world that are critical of Israel and US policies which by the way are dictated in Tel-Aviv not in Washington, in the same way it exercises power and authority over US media. The problem of free speech is not with US Constitution; the problem with free speech is a powerful Israeli/Jewish Lobby that has total say so over Congress and media. I hope the Arab nations will have the backbones to stand up to this unconscionable exercise of power by the Israeli/Jewish lobby through its agents in the US Congress
