Hi to all, First of all the question is specific one; it says What are the purposes of the bloody massacres in Iraq today, and who are behind them? Which means who stands behind the recent explosions took place in Baghdad, precisely the last three explosions on August, October and December; many of the answers were giving purposes and their thoughts about the US invasion for Iraq in 2003; and I don’t think this is our subject today. Many of the comments were focusing on dividing Iraq without giving any evidence and I think this is not objective way of comment. Concerning my opinion; the recent explosions has started after the trip of Maliki to Syria in August where he refused to met with Ba'ath members (check Iraqi newspapers during the visit) stationing in Syria and refused to integrate them in the political process; To speak about these explosions we need to study it from two perspectives, one is "why they happened" and two is "who stands behind them and why". Concerning the first perspective, and in brief, the explosions indicated low performance by the Iraqi security forces (ISF) and high performance by the enemies. The timing of the explosions, the sequence, the selection of the targets and the amount of explosives indicates high ability that leads to think that foreign governments involved in facilitating them. But the big question is still WHY? Which takes us to the second question. No doubt that Qaida is involved in these explosions, not only through their statement of claiming the responsibility, but I got get certain information that the suicidal where prepared by Qaida, some Iraqis and others were foreign Arabs; but was Qaida the only side involved? Many analyses showed that political intentions stand behind these explosions, not only terrorists; I think this page is not enough for giving enough explanations for the recent explosions, but I would like to finish saying that the two major sides who were mostly harmed by these explosions were the Iraqi people and the government led by Maliki which will defiantly affects his population in the coming elections in March after he made huge victory in the local governments elections in January 2009.

It is a civil war for the last years. Sectarian in nature between shia and sunni. There is a conflict between Arabs and Kurds, however, no force was used in this conflicrt. After 2003, Iraqis were looking for paradise after death! its the end of the world, so the leaders were the men of religion. The conflict in Iraq now is similar to that in the past history of the country

I have been there when the American forces entered Iraq and every things have been observed of me and recorded. What happened was a difficulty in understanding the Iraqi culture by the people who came and One can ask why USA didn't use the same scenario of governance in Afghanistan, why did they choose d the ethnic type of governance in the 1st governance committee. A strong president after Saddam was enough to keep everything quite.Neighbors are playing the most important role.

What the purposes of the bloody massacres in Iraq today are, 1- dividing Iraq into three geographical Regions, "Sunni, Shiite and Kurd" bye the United States of America and the western countries, 2- each of the three parties of the muslems groups , Shiite are striving to be the official rullers of Iraque supported bye the sectarian mafia, and recmmended by the United States of America, who are behind them, The United States of America, the western Countries and the bloody massacres.

The situation in Iraq is so complex for many reasons. Each reason, by itself, is quite enough to produce bloodshed anywhere in the globe. Among these reasons are; the american occupation, the Al-Qiada Terrorists, the religious and sectarian fanatics, the conflecting interest of regional countries, the unprepared media for democrasy, the absence of suitable person in suitable place, the unfair political system and the uncapable political leaders. Unless treating the cause the illness remains.

Looking at the whole picture, I think the most people who really do not want Iraq to be stable are the people who created this situation. If Iraq becomes stable, they would be after developments of their country, therefore need the Oil money!!! Otherwise they are busy with each other and the backhands are in control. I hope we stop pointing to this and that unless we have proves. Thanks

Iraq is very rich country thus vulnerable to be exploited by many through various means and ways. Those who exploit the situation, particularly who come from outside the country, used various methods and means to achieve their objectives disregarding morals, interests, safety, human rights, etc. of the country and its people. Many of the practices used are inhuman and normally unacceptable that caused long-lasting damages as well as conflicts resulting in massacre.

I am one of those who supported the overthrow of Saddam Hussein and too bad the overthrow was not done by Iraqis but done with America’s Bush who had his own plans for Iraq and liberation is not one of them. Since the invasion I tried my best to do as much reading as possible on Iraq from “Republic of Fear” to “Bush in Babylon “and it is clear that Iraq is not never that easy to manage and govern, especially due to the special vested interest of ethnic groups. The majority Sunnis was silent while Saddam was killing hundreds of thousands of Iraqis most of whom are Shiites and Kurds. Now it is time for the Shiites to take revenge. Iraq not withstanding the level of education remains a feudal state run by Shiites and Sunnis clerics with their own vested interest and a criminal mafia that runs the government, not to mention the former Ba’athists who are directly responsible for the total mess and carnage that is taken place now. Sectarian criminal mafia, sectarian criminal clerics are at the core of the death and mayhem-taking place in Iraq. Do not look far the criminal and murderers are part of the government with agents on the outside. Some one must be paying someone to kill and murder Iraqis, and it is not the Americans nor the Israelis but the Iraqis themselves. Too bad the leadership that came on the coattail of Bush’s army proved it is as corrupt and unfit to rule and manage Iraq as bad as Saddam and the Ba’athist did. There is no government in Iraq that cares but a diverge interest of sectarian mafia, no difference between those wearing a western suite or those wearing an Islamic robs and headdress. Too bad for all of the innocent Iraqis who had to die because those who supported the invasion and were partners with the criminal Bush did not prove worthy of rebuilding the nation and brining about peace, security and prosperity that was also missing during Saddam criminal regime. I suggest that all those who wants to fight let them fight and kill each other till no one is left, leaving innocent people to survive and rebuild a peaceful and prosperous Iraq.

The scenario is as follows .. America strives to divide Iraq into three parts of the Sunni, Shiite, Kurd, and eventually this will happen to that played on water bombing operations. Operations are divided this way, America's first conjures some of the processes behind the scenes to keep the Iraqi arena enthralling to remain charged atmosphere of mutual accusations and suspicions and discord between communities and among all its neighbors and the communities themselves, a second two kinds of pro-American policy, and waging war on other communities and other type against America and against other sects .. And thus the conflict will not end until the division of Iraq.
