I think that the Arabs and Israel is not willing to wars and is required concessions by Israel intransigence and the direction to settle and work towards the establishment of a just peace with the Arabs and Oltaic people together in genuine peace

The middleast area is under fire, Israel and the unfair european and USA aid to, the advanced steps of nuclear weapon of Iran, great hatred to the leaders ,poverty, thats a nasty mixture will never settle only wth big war.....its a revolution against everything.

Given the deadlock in the Middle East peace efforts , war seems inevitable. It may not occur in the near future, but in two or three years from now, war is expected between Israel and Iran and/or Hezbullah. Or a third Palestinian Intifada may explode in the West Bank. And we may see another civil or regional conflicts in countries like Iraq, Lebanon , Syria or the Palestinian territories..

The peace negotiations would resume the near future, and you will find a way out As for the wars do not expect any wars, but change tactics. The assassinations, demonstrations and events divisions, especially Iran. United States and Israel will work on this tactic with Iran and all those who oppose the planned US-Israeli. And no intention to launch a war directly and military influences from any Arab. Technique is the next disassembly of any State opposition

University Professor  (Belgium)

The war is always on route in this region. Never stopped and not going to stop, as far as Isrealis do not understand the principle of civilized life. as far as they do not follow the logic of justice and do not understand the requirement of Peace. When Isreal start to believe on the right of Palestinians to live as any human-being on earth, with dignity and freedom,at that time we start to believe on peace. we begin to establish hope and future. but to achieve this goal we need a miracle!!

I am surprised how some people try to make prediction about war or peace in the M.E. So many factors are involved and keep on changing with time. From the otherside they think time is in their favor, apparently partly true. How far that will go or allowed to go is a determining factor. The major forces in the world will not allow that to continue propogate, they try to maintain this inequality because that is in their favor. Such an attitude will never allow peace to take place in the region..

unfortunately we cannot comment on the peace process in the Middle East

faten , we not supposed to think , lol what ever happened to world , arab people will be sleepin' till end of time , simply they don't care .. and I think iranies are smarter than arab and they're thinkin' of their brains not in their emotions like arab and they will not open fires on middle east ... and let's leave it go as it is ..... I think most people here forget to talk about turkey , I think turkish are thinkin' to get their kingdom back in middle east

15- Faten Ameera

Academic researcher  (Jordan)

I think as a matter of fact ,if we ask a question like this we won't be fair, the reason because it is now a tradition rather than a habit, the normal to ask is "when ?" in the region, every morning we feel a big war will take place in Iran. we all feel it , not there only, many places like Lebanon are always on the edge of collision. We are sure that part of the problem on the larger scale is Israel, as there is no intensions for real peace by their side.

14- Maen Almaqableh

Teacher  (Jordan)

I think that there is a war in the horizon. Isreale will not accept Iran as a nuclear state. It will try to disarm huzbAllah. Because that war is coming.

I think we were hearin' that since born arab conutries but the question is " is there a game ? or there is hidin' power playin' of the region ? for me I think it's like a tug-of-war game , 10 years tuggin' and next 10 years ease off , may be next 100 years things will be change , and we'll seen islamic revolution will get up again , who knows !! for mention arab people just care of three things " coffe , sex , mobile " ............. summary : war will never happen in middle east

The matter all in the hand of our governorals and the world wish and strongly know that no armed actions will take effect it will be peace or in trust words the lier peace , so i can say the incomming war will be regional and the end of world as the profit tills that we all hope sorry for broken language .

Thanks

7- Assad Busool

I do not think so. The Arab regimes are not ready or willing to fight for the sake of anyone except for staying in power and pass it to their children. Palestine and the Palestinians do not mean any thing for any Arab regime. We witnessed what happened exactly a year ago when Israel invaded Gaza and brutally slaughtered its population. The same thing happened in 2006 when Israel invaded Southern Lebanon. If any future war breaks in the M.E. Israel would be the one to start it,

no

5- Ali Sadek

It ia about time to realise that peace cannot be achieved between the agressor and the victim where the victim is in a weak position. Isreal has used the so called "peace process" to grab more land and fortify its occupation of Palestine. Arabs, Palestinians and human rights' activists must annonce the death of this peace process and the failure of the Palestinian Authority and go back to focus on the struggle in all its forms to face the criminals of Israel and keep our rights in Palestine.

4- saad

translator  (United Arab Emirates)

I'm sure that there's a war going to happen between Iran,Syria and Hezb ullah against US and Israel very soon, and this war will effect many parts of the Middle East specially the gulf . For me i think the peace process is impossible at the this time specially with the Israel's settlements and it will be more complicated in the future

3- yasser

cad coordinator  (Morocco)

i dont expect to see a war on the regional level, means that no countries would be envolved in a war with israel.it will be at the same level as in the last few years Hizb allah and Hamas and some other palestinian factions can participate partially.Arab COUNTRIES have no intention what so ever to fight Israel

2- Sami Jamil Jadallah

International Consultant  (United States)

All Arab front line states are in no position to defend themselves against Israeli attack, let alone initiate any offensive action. Israel is the only country in the entire Middle East that has the capabilities to make war or peace. The rest of the Arab world is passive, drugged bystander to major events in the world. Arab states are failed states without any system of checks and balance, without any accountability or transparency, with one person making all the decisions and for the most part reckless and irresponsible decisions, such as Nasser in 67 and Arafat in Oslo. The reckless and irresponsible Palestinian leadership of the Trio of Arafat, Abbas and Qurai, killed any chance for peace and all chances for war. They were desperate to save their own skin after siding with Saddam; they accepted Rabin’s dictates of ending the Itifada which was a major source of trouble for Israel and Israel enticed the Palestinian leadership with a lucrative financial contract to manage the Jewish Occupation for and on behalf of Israel. We blame Saddat for concluding Camp David on his own, yet we do not hold the Palestinian leadership of Arafat & Company totally responsible for the mess we are in now. Oslo was a criminal act committed by an incompetent and inept self serving leadership that should have been on trial long time ago. It is this leadership that gave Israel free hand in Jerusalem, in building settlements, even in building the Apartheid Wall (with key leaders being main supplier of cement to build the Wall). Syria is never in a position to defend its borders; it has taken so many beatings by Israel in Bakka Valley, in the 82 War, in the many assassinations committed on Syrian soil. I guess the Arab armies as we have seen over and over and over, are never born to win wars, only to lose them and lose them badly. Israel is never worried about any Arab armies; it knows better, these armies are there to protect the regimes, not to defend the homeland. Ah, I forgot, perhaps Hamas with its Qassam rockets and its nuclear bombs can wage and win over Israel as it “Qassam Brigade leaders” warn Israel on so many occasions. We simply lost the will to live freely and honorably. We are not in a position to make war or make peace.
