The Search for a new prime minister in Belgium

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belgium in Brussels has declared on Sunday 22 of November the cancellation of two official visits which were to be carried out by Belgian Foreign Minister Yves Leterme to Morocco and Algeria this week.
The Belgian source said that the cancelation of the visits is maybe because of the possible appointment of the new Belgian Minister of the Government to replace Herman Van Rumbai which he was appointed the first president of the European Union through the European summit that took place last Thursday.
It was scheduled to accompany the Foreign Minister of Belgium Yves Leterme the Belgian Crown Prince Philippe on a trade mission in Morocco then go to Algeria to meet with his Algerian counterpart Mourad Medelci.
The political Belgian personalities launched a series of contacts and consultations to appoint a new prime minister and a coalition cabinet to replace the current federal government, headed by Herman Van Rumbai which has been assigned to be the first president of the European Union.
The Belgian monarch, Albert II cost the former Prime Minister Wilfried Martens to facilitate the transition between the current government and the future one.
