The debate is overshadowing the European governments on sharing positions of influence and new positions included in the Lisbon Treaty for European unity on the European activities of the week in the period from 16 to 20 November 2009.
European countries start Monday 16 and Tuesday 17, a series of meetings at the level of foreign, defense and development ministers in Brussels, and for the forty-eight hours to discuss preparations for the European summit scheduled for Thursday, November 19 in the Belgian capital, which will be to choose the first president of the Federation and the first representative of the highest European Union foreign policy, as well as the appointment of the Secretary-General of the Council of Europe (...).
In terms of meetings of European foreign ministers scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, the focus will be on relations with Russia before the EU-Russia summit (on Wednesday, November 18 in Stockholm), and about the situation in Afghanistan and Bosnia.
And Russia claimed a symbolic step in the decisive entry of Slovenia on Saturday, November 14th for the Line Swat - Stream (South Stream), which will pump Russian gas to southern Europe by the beginning of 2013 and the main rival of the European Nabucco project..
On the European Monetary level, ministers of Treasury and monetary will hold a special meeting in Brussels on Wednesday November 18 to discuss the EU budget for 2010.
