Russia seeks to play an active role in the Middle East

The Russian diplomatic is making a lot of efforts to book an active role in the Middle East so this important region wouldn’t remain a political and economic influence to the United States and some European countries, and an influence commercial point to China and Japan. This diplomacy started to move with the former President Vladimir Putin and today is continuing with the support and follow-up of the current President Dmitry Medvedev.


A Counter-revolution in Iran, or a protest movement..?

The results of the presidential election in Iran have caused a big surprise to many observers who believed that this claiming would only be a transient, even if the President Mahmud Ahmadi Nejad was re-elected. But the repercussions of the elections showed that the matter is more than that, and that there is a real crisis between the militants and the current trend of the reformists and the elections were only an occasion that allowed clashing the conflict after being like the burning coal under the ash.
