The Arab summit in Libya between carrying out reconciliations and extending their disputes

Libya will host on 27 March the regular Arab summit, at a time when its relations with many of the Arab countries is almost in a half-hearted atmosphere, which could lead to the reluctance of some Arab leaders from participating personally. This may also guide to a slight results at the end of the summit, unless the Libyan leader Colonel Muammar Gaddafi took the initiative to remove the atmosphere of apathy

An International effort to disarm the Yemeni detonator

Britain hosted on 27/1/2010 an international conference attended by 24 representatives of Arab and foreign countries and delegates from international financial institutions devoted to discuss the complex and multi-risk file of Yemen, where there is a war with the Huthis, and the growing of al-Qaeda, and the southern movement demanding separation. The date of the conference coincided with the announcement of Saudi Arabia, that it did defeated Huthis intruders into its territory, and pushed them towards the reversal distances inside Yemeni
.


Haiti: a tragedy turned into political posturing

January 22, 2010  

An earthquake measuring 7.3 on the Richter scale, took place in Haiti on 12/1/2010 and led to the fall of 200 thousand people dead and displaced two million people and causing mass destruction in the center of the capital, Port-au-Prince, where quite a number of collapsed buildings, including the presidential palace and the headquarters of the peacekeeping mission of the United, hotels and government installations. The disaster was natural to add to the economic and political crises plaguing the country
.
